Job summary

FCC Environmental Services is seeking a CDL driver to perform pre/post-trip checks, operate commercial vehicles on assigned routes, and ensure safe, timely waste collection services. You will engage with team members and customers, monitor vehicle status, complete required paperwork, and uphold FCC safety standards.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A or B, DOT regulatory knowledge, and a willingness to perform physical tasks.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B required; clean driving record preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Experience in garbage/recycling operations preferred.
• Able to lift or carry heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Completes pre- and post-operation checks of a commercial vehicle per FCC regulations.
• Ensures vehicles operate safely on assigned routes including residential areas and alleys.
• Operates controls and joystick equipment in line with safety procedures.
• Interacts courteously with co-workers, dispatchers, and customers to ensure timely service.
• Monitors vehicle status to minimize downtime and maintains paperwork accurately.
• Follows safety regulations and contributes to productivity standards.
