Job summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is hiring a Highway Maintenance Technician with a CDL to perform roadway maintenance duties in the Waco, Texas area.

The role involves operating wheel loaders, skid steers, forklifts, and other equipment while adhering to federal and local regulations. Candidate must have at least 2 years of related experience, a High School Diploma/GED, and the ability to work varying shifts including weather events.

Qualifications

• CDL required with valid license.
• Experience with roadway maintenance and construction equipment.
• Knowledge of MOT/traffic control is beneficial.
• Experience with guardrail and sign installation is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of roadway maintenance tasks in the Waco, TX area.
• Operate heavy equipment safely in accordance with regulations and company policies.
• Follow safety standards and pass background checks and drug testing.
