Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A or B CDL valid for the state of operation.
• Clean driving record is required.
• Candidate must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Demonstrates safety-conscious driving and work practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives refuse trucks on pre-assigned routes and dumps loads.
• Provides courteous customer service and professional attitude.
• Ensures proper collection and transfer of garbage and recyclables.
• Performs daily pre- and post-trip inspections and documents DVIRs.
• Maintains truck cleanliness and conducts routine checks.
• Assists with loading/unloading and uses hydraulics as needed.
• Completes required reports and records accurately.
• Oversees helpers on route and ensures safety compliance.
• Complies with DOT and state requirements for CMV operators.
• May be required to respond to emergencies.
