Job summary

Waste Pro is hiring CDL drivers to operate refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes, with adherence to safety procedures and DOT regulations. You will ensure timely pickups, maintain a clean truck, and perform pre/post-trip inspections while providing courteous service to customers and municipal partners.

This role requires a Class A or B CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to communicate in English. A special $10,000 driver award is offered for meeting criteria over time.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state where the position works.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Understand refuse collection policies and DOT requirements.
• Must be able to read and speak English well enough to communicate with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives a refuse collection truck on pre-established routes and dumps at designated facilities.
• Provides courteous, expeditious customer service on assigned routes.
• Ensures proper collection and transfer of garbage and recyclables; follows safety procedures.
• Performs daily pre- and post-trip inspections and safety documentation.
• Maintains truck cleanliness and assists with on-route duties as required.
