Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. is seeking energetic CDL drivers to join our residential collection teams. You will operate refuse trucks on pre-assigned routes, ensuring on-time pickups and courteous service to customers.

We offer a $10,000 driver award program and opportunities for growth. A valid CDL A or B and a clean driving record are required, along with the ability to pass DOT inspections and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Understand refuse collection policies, procedures, guidelines and practices; understanding of DOT requirements for operators of commercial motor vehicles.
• Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
• See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
• Exhibit normal range of body motion.
• Drive a refuse truck and observe safe driving practices.
• Follow a designated refuse collection route or work schedule.
• Understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
• Maintain written records and service responses.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives truck on pre-established route following DOT and company guidelines.
• Collects and dumps garbage and refuse along the designated route.
• Unloads refuse at landfill or transfer station as needed.
• Provide courteous, expeditious customer service to the public and customers.
• Ensure pickups are performed properly; tag improper containers as required.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain DVIR logs daily.
• Keep truck clean and perform weekly wash and exterior checks.
• Assist in routine clean-up of scattered refuse and operate hydraulics.
• Prepare and submit required reports and documents.
• Comply with Department of Transportation and State requirements for operators.
