Job summary

Waste Pro has immediate openings for energetic CDL Drivers in Texas, responsible for operating refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes and ensuring timely pickups with safe driving practices. You will supervise helpers on routes and perform vehicle inspections in a dynamic environment.

The position offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus paid over the first year and a $10,000 driver award earned every three years upon meeting criteria, reflecting Waste Pro’s commitment to recognizing dedication

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Understand refuse collection policies and DOT/state requirements for commercial motor vehicle operators.
• Ability to read and communicate in English; legible handwriting for paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives truck on pre-established routes and collects garbage and recyclables.
• Provides courteous and expeditious customer service to the public and customers.
• Ensures proper pickup and transfer of refuse to trucks; uses back door as needed.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and safety checks per company guidelines.
• Maintain a clean truck; wash exterior weekly and inspect under hood and tires.
• Assist with manual cleanup of scattered refuse and operate hydraulics.
• Prepare and submit required reports and documents.
• Supervise personnel on the vehicle during routes; ensure DOT compliance.
