Job summary

Waste Pro in Gulfport, MS, is hiring energetic CDL drivers for residential collection routes. You will operate refuse vehicles, inspect and maintain the truck, and ensure safety and timely service on pre-assigned routes.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Understand and follow refuse collection policies and DOT/state requirements.
• Speak and read English well enough to communicate with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives truck on pre-established route and collects garbage/additional refuse.
• Provide courteous, expeditious customer service on the route.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and complete DVIR reports.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and inspect under the hood and tires.
• Prepare and submit required reports and documents.
