Job summary

Waste Pro in Florida is seeking a Class A/B CDL driver to operate refuse collection routes, perform pre/post trip inspections, and ensure safe, on-time pickups. You will drive various trucks, handle daily logs, and maintain vehicle cleanliness. The role includes safety compliance, interaction with customers, and occasional route support.

This position requires English communication, DOT knowledge, and ability to work 8–12 hour shifts in varied weather.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A or B CDL for the applicable state.
• At least 2 years of waste industry driving experience in the past 7 years.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Understand refuse collection policies and DOT/state vehicle requirements.
• Able to communicate in English with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives truck on pre-established routes and dumps refuse as required.
• Provides courteous customer service to the public and clients.
• Performs daily pre- and post-trip inspections and maintains logs.
• Keeps truck clean and reports any defects or safety concerns.
• Assists with route coverage and participates in training as needed.
