Job summary

Patriot Disposal / Apple Valley Waste in Manassas, VA is seeking a Rear-Load Driver to lead routes and ensure safe, efficient waste collection. This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 and a home-daily schedule with steady year-round work.

The driver will operate a rear-load unit, back up with helpers, and coordinate with dispatch to meet service commitments while following safety policies and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications listed: CDL with air brake endorsement and DOT medical certification.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive rear-load truck with safety and efficiency.
• Complete routes safely and on time per dispatch.
• Assist with loading and unloading waste with helpers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Maintain cleanliness of routes and report missed pickups.
