Job summary

Patriot Disposal / Apple Valley Waste is seeking a CDL Rear-load Driver in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This full-time role offers steady year-round work, a clear path for advancement, and a competitive hourly rate with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

You will lead from the front, back up safely, load waste with helpers, and maintain high safety standards while delivering reliable service to residential customers; home daily with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement.
• Valid DOT medical certification.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• 1+ year CDL experience (preferred).
• Experience in residential or manual collection environments (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate and back up safely; comply with DOT safety policies and inspections.
• Complete routes on time; follow dispatcher instructions and route sheets.
• Load waste with helpers; ensure safe coordination during backing operations.
• Provide courteous service to residential customers and maintain site standards.
• Complete required documentation (DVIRs, route sheets) and maintain dispatch communication.
