Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Must be 21+ and able to obtain CDL Learner's permit.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean record.
• Willing to enroll in Estes driving school.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the service center or work assignment.
• Must pass FMCSA physical and drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle and maneuver tractor/trailers for loading/unloading.
• Cube, load, and unload freight using forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.
• Secure freight to prevent damage or shifting.
• Record freight condition on arrival at service center.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of yard and dock equipment.
• Set up, break down and hook trailers safely.
• Lower tilt bars on pup trailers before loading.
• Raise and lower landing gear.
• Monitor yard for unsafe drivers; report to management.
• Work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Report maintenance issues to Fleet Services and supervision.
• Track dock and yard time; maintain regular attendance.
