Job summary

Branscome in Virginia is seeking a Ready Mix Truck Driver for the Hampton Roads area. You will operate concrete mixer trucks, transport and dump concrete, and maintain a safe work environment in accordance with safety policies.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A or B with air brake endorsement, at least 2 years of experience, good vision for day and night driving, and a Real ID or ability to obtain one within 30 days. Overtime may be required and basic math skills are needed.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL, Class A or B license with air brake endorsement.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles preferred.
• Vision must be acceptable for day and night driving.
• Must possess a Real ID for accessing military bases; if not, obtain within 30 days from hire.
• Ability to do basic math.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks with concrete mixer to transport and dump concrete.
• Maintain safe work environment per safety policies and procedures.
• Operate mixer drum controls to dump contents and position truck.
• Inspect truck equipment per CDL pre-trip guidelines.
• Perform basic maintenance and oiling of equipment as required.
• Adhere to DOT standards and maintain daily logs.
