Job summary

BURNCO Rock Products Ltd. is hiring Ready-Mix Drivers in Justin, Texas. You will safely operate a ready-mix truck and deliver time-sensitive concrete to construction sites, while supporting a culture of safety and equipment upkeep.

Role requires a CDL, 2 years of ready-mix or 1 year of commercial driving experience, and flexibility for Saturdays. Expect outdoor work, PPE and routine inspections, with opportunities to work at other BURNCO plants as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Two years of ready-mix experience or one year of commercial driving experience
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including Saturdays
• Active FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration (required)
• Ability to learn ready-mix designs and material components

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a ready-mix truck and deliver to construction sites
• Perform daily maintenance checks and keep the truck clean
• Report minor mechanical issues promptly
• Maintain a safe, organized work area around the plant and job sites
• Follow all BURNCO policies and DOT driving standards
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and paperwork accurately
• Communicate safety or operational concerns to the supervisor
• Crosstrain in other areas to support team operations
• Perform related duties as assigned
