Job summary

S&W Ready Mix is looking for a high-energy CDL Ready Mix Driver to join our Kinston, NC plant team. The role requires operating a truck safely, delivering perishable concrete products, and maintaining excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL and a clean driving record are required.
• Professional and courteous attitude toward coworkers and customers.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat/cold and other outdoor conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate basic equipment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and OT.
• Must pass pre-employment checks (DOT physical, drug screen, background, MVR).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate truck per federal, state, and company regulations.
• Load and deliver perishable product to customers with quality service.
• Assist with plant maintenance, cleanup, and other duties as assigned when not driving.
• Complete pre/post trip inspections and report maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the truck and communicate with dispatch.
