The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is seeking qualified candidates for Permanent Highway Maintenance Worker 1 (HMW1) or Highway Technician 1 (HT1) in District 07, Clark County—Springfield. The roles involve road upkeep, flagging, pothole patching, and snow/ice operations.

Qualifications

• Formal arithmetic education including basic operations and English literacy.
• Must obtain Class B CDL with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction.

Responsibilities

• Perform highway maintenance activities: flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, mowing.
• Engage in snow and ice operations.
