Job summary

Innovative Ag Services in Cascade, IA seeks a skilled field technician to perform safe, professional, and precise application of crop nutrients and protection products. This role includes operating and maintaining location equipment and facilities for IAS and its member owners.

You will report on time, obtain necessary licenses, and assist with product distribution while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude including understanding of mechanical, hydraulics, and piping systems.
• Ability to obtain Class A CDL.
• Displays initiative and commitment to completing assignments efficiently.
• Ability to communicate information effectively in writing or orally.
• Ability to organize, handle change, and manage multiple tasks.
• Possess basic math skills for operations.

Responsibilities

• Report to assigned workplace on time and notify supervisor for absences.
• Professional custom application of crop nutrients and protection products.
• Submit required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Repair and maintain assigned equipment; document all work performed.
• Operate and maintain equipment and facilities within the region.
• Assist with distribution of farm supplies and grain when assigned.
• Monitor shop tools and inventory; request replacements as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of shop and warehouse areas.
• Participate in safety and job-related training programs.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Create a positive, professional image to customers and community.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by location manager.
