Job summary

Innovative Ag Services is looking for a dependable team member in Elkader, IA to perform professional custom application of crop nutrients and protection products, and to transport farm supplies safely and efficiently.

The role requires mechanical aptitude and a Class A CDL or the ability to obtain one, plus licensing for custom applicator or the ability to obtain. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is eligible for this position.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with understanding of hydraulics and piping systems.
• Ability to operate and maintain farm machinery and tools.
• Class A CDL or ability to obtain CDL.

Responsibilities

• Report to the assigned workplace on time and address absences with supervisor.
• Maintain licenses and physicals required to perform duties.
• Perform professional custom application of crop nutrients and protection products.
• Submit required application paperwork timely and accurately.
• Maintain and repair assigned equipment; document all work performed.
• Transport commodities and farm supply products.
• Assist with distribution of farm supplies and grain when needed.
• Notify shop tools, inventories or replacements; manage inventory.
• Keep shop and warehouse clean; participate in safety training and company policies.
