Job summary

Innovative Ag Services is seeking a skilled field technician to perform quality, safe, and efficient custom application of crop nutrients and protection products in Iowa. You will operate and maintain location equipment and facilities and report to the location manager.

This role requires mechanical aptitude and the ability to obtain Class A CDL with Airbrake, Tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements, plus a strong safety and customer-service mindset to support IAS and its member owners.

Qualifications

• Maintain required licenses, physicals, etc. to perform job requirements.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude with understanding of machines and tools.
• Possess math skills for basic calculations and measurements.
• Ability to communicate information effectively in writing or verbally.

Responsibilities

• Professional custom application of crop nutrients and protection products.
• Repairs and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment; document work performed.
• Operation and maintenance of equipment and facilities within the region.
• Assist with the distribution of farm supply products and grain when assigned.
• Follow safety policies and procedures; participate in training.
