Job summary

Wind River Environmental LLC is seeking a dependable Pump Technician to operate a service truck, pump septic tanks, and dispose of non-hazardous waste for residential and commercial customers. The role requires driving, safety focus, and excellent customer service in a field-based setting.

The base pay range is $25.00–$30.00 hourly, with benefits including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k). Day shift hours and year-round work support a stable, essential services career path.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL preferred.
• Tanker endorsement a plus or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to drive manual transmission.
• At least 1 year of professional commercial driving experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must pass a DOT drug screen, physical, and road test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a service truck and vacuum equipment to pump septic tanks.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections (fluids, tires, supplies).
• Provide professional customer service and educate customers on system care.
• Identify and report defective components or hazards and recommend service options.
• Complete and submit required paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Respond to trouble or emergency calls as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and DOT regulations; work independently in the field.
