Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking a dependable Pump Technician to pump septic tanks and dispose of non-hazardous waste. You will drive a company service truck, operate vacuum equipment, and uphold safety and customer service standards in the field.

The role offers a day shift with early start times, competitive hourly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package. Must pass DOT drug screen and physical exam; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• Class A or B CDL required or able to obtain
• Tanker endorsement preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to drive manual transmission
• At least 1 year of professional commercial driving experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Basic computer literacy (email, internet)
• Must pass a DOT drug screen and physical exam
• Willingness to work in a drug-free environment

Responsibilities

• Safely operate service truck and vacuum equipment to pump septic tanks
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Provide professional customer service and educate customers on system care
• Identify and report defective components or hazards; suggest service options
• Complete and submit required paperwork accurately and promptly
• Respond to trouble or emergency calls as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and DOT regulations
• Represent Wind River Environmental in the field while working independently
