Job summary

Select Water Solutions’ CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight. This position involves building loads for deliveries, loading/unloading oilfield equipment, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment with quality control in all operations.

Responsibilities include pump operation, hose handling, safety compliance, and timely deliveries while coordinating with Procurement.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as CDL A driver.
• CDL A license.
• High School diploma/GED.
• Tanker and HazMat endorsement preferred.
• Meet all Federal Motor Carrier D.O.T. requirements and safety qualifications.
• Current D.O.T. medical card.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and interpret information such as driving routes, safety rules, tickets and operating instructions.
• Possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must pass D.O.T. pre-employment physical.
• Ability to work night or weekend shifts as necessary.
• Must be detail oriented due to safety.
• Must possess excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Able to thrive in a team environment.
• CDL certification from accredited driving school and one year of similar driving experience; experience may be substituted.
• Experience in energy industry.

Responsibilities

• Operating high-pressure pump using levers, pedals and buttons.
• Operating high-pressure pump to circulate wells and control down hole well pressure.
• Observing equipment gauges, indicators and hand signals to monitor job activities and conditions.
• Carrying and laying out hoses and joints of pipe from the truck to the wellhead.
• Connecting and disconnecting hoses and joints of pipe using hand tools.
• Following safe operating procedures according to job specifications and equipment.
• Responsible for making sure truck is loaded and secured properly.
• Responsible for weight of shipment.
