Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking a Pump Technician to perform residential and commercial pumping and disposal of non-hazardous waste. You will operate a service truck, drive to sites, and pump septic tanks while interacting with customers to ensure satisfaction.

The role requires a CDL A or B with tanker endorsement, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work the night shift in Stanley, NC. Safety and compliance are emphasized in daily duties and company protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL Class A or B license with tanker endorsement (if requested).
• Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Able to operate manual transmission vehicle in delivery duties.
• Willingness to pass DOT drug screen, medical certification, and road exams.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules per WRE and DOT requirements.
• Prepare service truck and tools for each job to maximize efficiency.
• Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction at the site.
• Identify defective septic components and advise on maintenance or service.
• Submit quotes and service paperwork in a timely manner.
• Respond to trouble or emergency calls promptly.
• Discuss maintenance frequency with customers as needed.
• Follow all Wind River Environmental protocols.
