Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking a Pump Technician to perform residential and commercial pumping and disposal of non-hazardous waste, operating a company service truck and visiting customer sites to pump septic tanks. Location: Stuart, FL.

Qualifications

• CDL class A or B required.
• Tanker endorsement a plus or willingness to obtain.
• Must pass DOT drug screen, physical, road test.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and DOT requirements.
• Prepare service jobs with truck and tools.
• Interact with customers on site to ensure satisfaction.
• Identify defective septic components and advise maintenance.
• Submit quotes and service paperwork promptly.
• Respond to trouble or emergency calls quickly.
• Recommend maintenance frequency to customers.
• Follow Wind River Environmental protocols.
