Wind River Environmental is seeking a Pump Technician to service residential and commercial pumping and disposal of non-hazardous waste. The role involves operating a service truck and driving to sites to pump septic tanks while delivering professional customer service.

The position offers competitive hourly pay, CDL A or B with Tanker Endorsement, and a schedule that may include Sundays through Thursdays or Tuesdays through Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret documents including company policies, safety rules, and manuals.
• Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers and management.
• Work independently and manage pressure to meet deadlines.
• Perform basic math calculations.
• Use email and internet tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and DOT requirements.
• Prepare the truck and tools for each service job (pre-trip/post-trip maintenance).
• Interact with customers on-site to ensure satisfaction.
• Identify defects or hazards and recommend maintenance to customers.
• Submit quotes and service paperwork in a timely manner.
• Respond promptly to trouble or emergency calls.
• Discuss and recommend maintenance frequency with customers.
• Follow all Wind River Environmental service protocols.
