Wind River Environmental is seeking a dependable Pump Technician in Durham, NC. You will drive a service truck, pump septic systems, and dispose non-hazardous waste while upholding safety and great customer service.

The role requires a CDL Class A or B, willingness to obtain a tanker endorsement, and at least 1 year of professional driving experience. Strong communication and outdoor work readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B license.
• Tanker endorsement a plus or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to operate manual transmission.
• Minimum 1 year of professional commercial driving experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsabilités

• Operate service truck and vacuum equipment to pump septic tanks.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Provide professional customer service and explain system care to customers.
• Identify hazards or defective components and suggest service options.
• Complete paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Respond to trouble or emergency calls as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and DOT regulations.
• Work independently representing Wind River Environmental.

Connaissances

CDL Class A or B

Manual transmission experience

1 year commercial driving experience
