Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking a dependable, safety-minded Pump Technician to join our team. You will operate a service truck, pump septic systems, and dispose of non-hazardous waste while delivering excellent customer service.

This on-site, day-shift role offers year-round work, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for career advancement. CDL required with tanker endorsement preferred; candidates must pass DOT drug screen and road test.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B is required.
• Tanker endorsement is a plus or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to drive manual transmission.
• At least 1 year of professional commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must pass a DOT drug screen, physical exam, and road test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a service truck and vacuum equipment to pump septic tanks.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections (fluids, tires, supplies).
• Provide professional customer service and educate customers on system care.
• Identify and report defective components or hazards and recommend service options.
• Complete and submit required paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Respond to trouble or emergency calls as needed.
• Follow all company safety protocols and DOT regulations.
• Work independently while representing Wind River Environmental in the field.
