Job summary

City of Millersville in Goodlettsville, TN is seeking a Utility Worker (CDL) to support Public Works. This full-time, in-person role covers maintenance of the wastewater system, drainage, streets, and other assets, with heavy equipment operation and manual labor.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and a Tennessee CDL; public works experience is preferred. The position offers $20.00/hour with overtime and a potential $0.50/hour increase after a six-month review.

Qualifications

• Experience in public works or related field preferred.
• Valid Tennessee CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Construct, inspect, and repair the wastewater collection system and related infrastructure.
• Operate and maintain heavy and light equipment for city public works assets.
• Perform building, grounds, and facility maintenance of city properties.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotation.
• Follow safety regulations and document work records.
