Job summary

The Town of Preston is seeking a Public Works Maintainer to support the Department of Public Works in maintaining roads, bridges, parks, and facilities. The role requires operating power equipment, performing heavy labor, and plowing snow with a CDL in good standing.

Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. Salary ranges from $23.11 to $28.89 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
• Duties include plowing snow, sanding/salting roads, operating power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain town roads, bridges, parks, grounds and facilities.
• Plow snow, sand/salt roads and operate power equipment.
