Job summary

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) invites applications for an emergency maintenance equipment operator at the Preston Maintenance Facility, 29715 Hwy 54, Preston, MO 65732. You will perform snow removal duties and related routine tasks, operating plow vehicles and spreading ice control materials under direct supervision.

Minimum qualifications include being at least 18 years old, possessing a CDL Class A or B with no air brake restrictions, and passing a criminal background check

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CDL Class A or B with no air brake restrictions and interstate status.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicles to plow snow and spread ice control materials or to warn oncoming traffic.
• Cleans and performs routine maintenance on vehicles, equipment, buildings and grounds.
