Job summary

Borough of Pennington is seeking a full-time Laborer 1 to join our Department of Public Works. Key responsibilities include maintaining streets, parks, buildings and grounds, and operating and maintaining public water and sewer systems.

Responsibilities also include trash collection, snow removal, and responding to emergency weather events. CDL desirable; salary per labor contract with 2026/2027 figures and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with experience operating and maintaining small to medium equipment.
• CDL desirable.
• Full-time Laborer 1 position in Public Works.
