Job summary

Ancora Education seeks a CDL Program Director to lead the CDL program, drive curriculum development, and oversee training for Driver Trainers. The role involves advising students, managing faculty performance, and coordinating with central offices to improve program effectiveness.

The director will attend regular faculty meetings, ensure compliance with FMCSA and state standards, and actively participate in program evaluation and student success initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL license with driving experience required.
• 5 years of industry instruction experience.
• 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Knowledge of federal FMCSA and state DOT standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the CDL program and oversee curriculum development and revision.
• Hire, orient, develop, and evaluate Driver Trainers and monitor faculty performance.
• Support student advising, retention, and success, including early intervention and progression discussions.
• Lead regular faculty meetings and drive continuous program improvement and accreditation.
• Collaborate with Home Office and Account management on program training and student recruitment.
