Job summary

Sygma Portland seeks a Driver Trainee CDL Permit in Clackamas, OR to assist the driver with unloading and delivering to customers, while learning routes and SYGMA procedures. This role includes a 3-month trial as a Driver Helper and night dispatch shifts of 10–14 hours with pay around $900 per week and CDL training support.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, be able to read/write in English, and be willing to attend CDL school.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or the equivalent in work experience is necessary.
• Previous food distribution and frozen food handling is preferred.
• You must be able to read and write clearly.

Responsibilities

• Unload product according to customer specifications and SYGMA delivery procedures at customer locations.
• Develops and establishes good relationships with customers by providing excellent, courteous service.
• Learn route on current bid and assist in all aspects of route paperwork.
• Attend CDL School when scheduled.
