Job summary

The SYGMA Network is seeking an operations clerical specialist to support the transportation department. This role maintains DOT compliance and handles driver daily paperwork, logs, manifests, and vehicle inspections to ensure smooth workflows.

You will answer phones, route calls, and coordinate between office and operations, addressing inbound freight issues and producing daily reports for supervisors. A valid license and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of prior customer service experience preferred.
  • 2 years’ distribution/transportation experience in a high volume, route delivery operation preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company insurability standards.
  • Strong leadership, analytical and motivational skills.
  • Knowledge of D.O.T. regulations.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expertise in Windows operating system and utilizing Excel and Word.
  • Understanding of Manpower scheduling.

Job Summary
