Job summary

Power Corporation of America/Southeast Power Corporation is hiring a heavy equipment operator to support electrical construction projects in Texas. The role involves operating bucket trucks, cranes, digger derricks, backhoes, bulldozers, drill rigs and related machinery.

The job requires a CDL Class A license, a minimum of 3 years' experience, and the ability to communicate in English. Candidates must be able to work outside in diverse weather and travel as needed, while following safety rules

Responsibilities

• Operate aerial devices (bucket trucks), cranes, digger derricks, backhoes, bulldozers, drill rigs and other heavy equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and across multiple locations.
• Follow company safety rules and policies; wear PPE as required.
• Communicate clearly with team and supervisor to coordinate tasks.

Position Overview

Operate electrical construction heavy equipment such as aerial devices (bucket trucks), cranes, digger derricks, backhoes, bulldozers, drill rigs, and other associated heavy equipment related to the electrical construction industry.

Required Qualifications

• CDL Class A.
• At least 3 years of experience.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Work performed outside and includes exposure to extreme cold, heat, inclement weather, and noise.
• Willingness to work in various locations across the state/country and for extended periods, when required.
• Ability to follow Company safety rules and all other Company policies.
• Willing to submit and pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
• Ability to perform all assigned tasks in a safe and effective manner.
• Ability to understand and communicate information and work in a team environment.
• Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig, climb, and reach; able to lift, carry and place heavy objects.
• Must have an acceptable MVR.
• We participate in E‑Verify.

Physical Requirements

This role requires the physical ability to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, and perform repetitive motions.
