Job summary

Shepeard Community Blood Center in Augusta, GA seeks a CDL Mobile Driver to support blood collection operations. Under the Director of Donor Services, you will load, transport, and set up equipment, ensure donor safety, and uphold quality controls in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualified candidates have a High School diploma, a phlebotomy course, 3–6 months driving 26,001+ lb vehicles, a Class A or B CDL with passenger endorsement, and the ability to lift 50 lb.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved phlebotomy course.
• 3–6 months of experience driving vehicles over 26,001 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, set up, and dismantle equipment and supplies for blood collection.
• Maintain bloodmobile and truck in good working condition.
• Complete logs and reports including VIR and DDL.
• Maintain accurate manual/computer records on quality control and blood collections.
• Promote positive relations with donors, sponsors, and the community.
