Shepeard Community Blood Center in Augusta, GA is seeking a dedicated CDL Mobile Driver to join our team. You will collect blood from volunteer donors, manage equipment and supplies, and prepare units for transportation under the Director of Donor Services, while delivering a reassuring donor experience.

The role requires a high school diploma, a Class A or B CDL with passenger endorsement, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved phlebotomy course.
• 3–6 months of experience driving vehicles over 26,001 pounds.
• Valid Class A or B CDL with passenger endorsement; clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• Load, transport, set up, and dismantle equipment and supplies for blood collection.
• Maintain the bloodmobile and truck, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Complete necessary logs and reports, including the Vehicle Inspection Report (VIR) and Driver’s Daily Log (DDL).
• Maintain accurate manual and computer files on quality control and blood collections.
• Promote positive relations with donors, sponsors, and the community.
