Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Mixer Operator to deliver ready mix concrete to construction sites. You’ll operate a concrete mixer truck (Class A or B CDL), maintain safety, and provide top-notch service while representing SRM on every job site.

You’ll join a team with home daily routes, overtime after 8 hours, and competitive hourly pay. Ideal candidates have a valid CDL, DOT medical card, clean driving record, and strong work ethic with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Active Class A or B CDL and current DOT Medical Card.
• Proven safe driving record.
• Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and work in all weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to complete SRM’s pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck (Class A or B CDL) to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential job sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet precise specifications and quality standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service at every job site, representing SRM Concrete with professionalism and a service-first attitude.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols to protect yourself, your team, and the public.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Coordinate with dispatch and plant teams for efficient scheduling and routing.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.
