Job summary

Northwest Respiratory Services seeks a Medical Equipment Delivery Driver to educate patients on respiratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safe usage in patients' homes. The role emphasizes empathy, accuracy, and building trust through face-to-face interactions.

Requirements include a CDL-B with air brakes (preferably), strong customer service, ability to lift heavy equipment, and compliance with background, DOT, and safety screenings.

Qualifications

• Current CDL-B with Airbrakes Endorsement preferred.
• Acceptable criminal background check and motor vehicle record check.
• Pass a mandated drug test, a physical capability test, and DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift, pull, push and carry heavy equipment daily.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
• A desire to work with the community and help those in need obtain a better quality of breathing.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries in a straight truck or van, up to 16 feet in length.
• Deliver and educate on safe use and care of respiratory equipment at each patient’s residence.
• Document patient interactions for compliance and billing accuracy.
• Resolve patient equipment problems on an as needed basis.
• Fill Oxygen Cylinders and Tanks.
