Job summary

Northwest Respiratory Services seeks a Medical Equipment Delivery Driver to join our team. This role is the face of our company, providing empathetic, accurate communication to support patients' health and quality of life.

You will educate patients on their equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper and safe use through regular face-to-face interactions, while working with local routes and being home every night.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver's license is required.
• Class C CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred (we can help obtain)
• Background check, MVR check, drug test, and DOT physical required
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment up to 165 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries in a straight truck or van (up to 16 ft).
• Educate patients on safe use and care of respiratory equipment at homes.
• Document patient interactions for compliance and billing accuracy.
• Resolve patient equipment problems as needed.

• Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
• Salary Range: $23.00 - $25.00 Hourly

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Make deliveries in a straight truck or van, up to 16 feet in length
• Deliver and educate on safe use and care of respiratory equipment at each patient’s residence.
• Document patient interactions for compliance and billing accuracy
• Resolve patient equipment problems on an as needed basis

Qualifications

• Current state issued driver’s license.
• Class C CDL REQUIRED with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred but we can help you get the required endorsements needed for this position!
• Acceptable criminal background check and motor vehicle record check
• Pass a mandated drug test, a physical capability test, and DOT Physical
• Ability to lift, pull, push, and carry heavy equipment daily (up to 165 lbs.)
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills
