Job summary

East Haven Builders Supply, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a CDL Driver I to safely transport materials to job sites and other locations. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Class A or B CDL license required.
• 1–2 years CDL experience preferred.
• Experience transporting and handling lumber and building materials required.

Responsibilities

• Operates Class A or B commercial vehicles in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner.
• Delivers to active construction sites, completed build locations, city-based and interstate travel as needed.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections for safety and compliance.
• Provides professional customer service and relays messages from customers on site.
• Verifies orders for accuracy before departure and upon delivery.
• Complies with DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules.
• Delivers and unloads materials, ensuring customer satisfaction at delivery point.
• Records merchandise returned and assists in unloading for credit with proper documentation.
• Operates a truck-mounted forklift to load, unload, and transport materials at job sites.
• Keeps truck clean and organized; maintains readiness for operation.
• Assists with stocking and organizing inventory in warehouse and production areas.
