Job summary

Kirchner Building Centers is seeking a CDL Delivery Driver to load, transport, and deliver lumber and building materials to customers. You will ensure safe operations, follow company procedures, and maintain accurate paperwork.

This full-time role requires a valid Class B CDL, forklift capability, and strong customer service. You will work with a team across locations, uphold safety standards, and help ensure on-time deliveries in all weather.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B (or higher) CDL license and clean driving record.
• Forklift operation capability and relevant certifications.
• Ability to build and strap loads for safe transport.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately build loads and prepare materials for deliveries in a timely manner.
• Safely operate forklift in accordance with OSHA and company standards.
• Schedule deliveries with customers and coordinate with team members.
• Maintain clean and organized lumberyard and storage areas.
• Handle delivery paperwork, inventory, and inter-yard transfers.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues.
• Build relationships with customers, vendors and team members.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Transport products between stores safely and on schedule.
• Complete daily truck inspections and logs.
