Kirchner Building Centers is seeking a CDL Delivery Driver with a valid Class B CDL to join our team. The role involves loading and delivering building materials, operating a forklift, and ensuring safe, on-time deliveries to customers.

You will maintain accurate paperwork and collaborate with store staff to meet customer needs. The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class B CDL and a clean driving record.
• Experience operating forklifts is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and effective communication are essential.
• Knowledge of lumber/building materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accurately build loads and prepare materials for deliveries.
• Safely operate forklift in accordance with safety standards.
• Schedule deliveries of materials to customers with team.
• Maintain a clean and organized lumberyard environment.
• Handle delivery paperwork, inventory, and inter-yard transfers.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address issues.
• Build relationships with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
• Transport products between stores efficiently and safely.
• Properly strap loads and comply with transport regulations.
• Maintain CDL and DOT Medical Certification current.
• Complete daily truck inspections and logs.
