Job summary

Elevate Textiles, a leading textiles manufacturer, is seeking a CDL Driver to join our internal trucking fleet. This local role focuses on day routes between facilities and suppliers, emphasizing safety and on-time delivery.

You will operate a tractor/trailer, maintain CDL with HazMat and DOT medical card, and keep accurate logs and documentation. Join a professional team committed to compliance and quality service.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of over-the-road or local driving experience.
• Maintain valid CDL with HazMat endorsement and DOT medical certificate.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with laws.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor/trailer combination vehicle over public highways to pick up and deliver freight as directed by dispatch.
• Obey all federal and state laws in the operation of a commercial vehicle.
• Maintain a valid commercial driver’s license with hazardous materials endorsement and a current and valid DOT medical examiner’s certificate.
• Maintain required records including vehicle inspection log and driver log book, observing hours of service rules.
• Monitor and redistribute freight load to comply with weight-per-axle regulations.
