• Home Daily with our Fresh Produce CDL B Box Truck Delivery Driver positions.
• Touch Freight will be required.
• First Year Earnings: $58,000 - $62,000 + Paid Benefits

Job Summary:

Drivers run daily routes with frequent stops, loading packages onto hand trucks and unloading products at each stop in the designated route. The role involves operating in a cross-dock model, picking up loaded trucks from nightly deliveries, and returning empties. Occasional assistance with loading, palletizing, and other duties as assigned may be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage technical, customer relations, and personnel aspects of major programs and projects.
• Run routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding time standards.
• Unload products from trailers, using hand carts if necessary, and place in designated areas, often in all weather conditions.
• Lift, push, or move products weighing 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds, frequently reaching up to 72 inches for stacking and unstacking pallets.
• Verify deliveries with customers, obtain signatures, and communicate discrepancies or errors.
• Report any incomplete deliveries (shorts) and handle customer complaints professionally.
• Operate company equipment properly, follow safety rules, and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations and company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Experience

• At least one year of route delivery experience or relevant driving background with a straight truck.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License - Class B (Class A preferred).
• Ability to read and understand English.

• Operate vehicles safely in various traffic and weather conditions.
• Meet or exceed productivity and case error goals.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Plan and organize work independently.
• Understand product and inventory control procedures.
• Maintain effective communication with departments regarding routing, safety, and customer relations.

OTHER INFORMATION

• Frequent lifting of products up to 50 lbs., infrequent lifting to 80 lbs.
• Ability to climb on and off the truck.
• Frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling.
• Work in confined spaces may be required.
