Job description

Job Summary:

Sysco has immediate openings for dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers to operate tractor-trailers safely and efficiently. Drivers will manually unload and deliver various products such as meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Building positive relationships with customers through a friendly attitude and understanding their operations is key to meeting their needs and expectations.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• 21+ years of age
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to lift, push, or move products weighing 40-60 pounds on average, up to 100 pounds repeatedly
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred Requirements

• At least 1 year of customer delivery experience
• 6 months of hand cart/hand truck experience
• 6 months of Food and Beverage industry experience
• Two years of consistent work history
