Job summary

Linde plc. in Illinois seeks a delivery driver to load, transport and unload products, making 10-12 stops daily and providing excellent customer service.

You will count delivered/picked up items, complete hazmat shipping papers per DOT, and perform pre- and post-trip inspections. Must have a CDL with hazmat, 21+, clean driving record. Pay rate is $30 hourly with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, reading and writing in English.
• Two years driving experience or Truck Driving School certification with CDL.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, suspensions, or moving violations in past 2 years.
• No alcohol-related convictions in last 10 years.
• Must pass DOT physical and obtain medical certificate.
• Ability to lift at least 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• You will deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
• You are expected to complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
• You will build both relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs
• You will continuously build your knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help organization to continue growing
