Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Michigan is seeking a professional CDL driver to deliver industrial gases and related materials. You will perform 10–12 stops per day, touch freight, complete paperwork, and ensure excellent customer service while adhering to safety standards.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, two years of driving experience or recent CDL training, a hazmat endorsement, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. A valid DOT medical certificate is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with ability to read and write in English.
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent CDL training.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement required within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents or violations within past two years.
• Must pass DOT physical and obtain medical certificate.
• Able to push, pull, move, lift at least 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers; average 10-12 stops per day while handling freight and paperwork and providing service.
• Count and record quantities and styles of delivered and picked up products.
• Maintain compliance with DOT hazardous materials shipping orders.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet goals.
• Grow knowledge of Linde’s business operations to help the organization grow.
