Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. Lancaster, TX is hiring a Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B). You will deliver to customers, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, and proficiency in reading and writing in English.
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, with a valid CDL.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers, averaging 10–12 stops per day, handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous material shipping orders in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify needs for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business goals.
