Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B). You will make 10-12 customer stops daily, handle freight, complete paperwork, and deliver exceptional service while maintaining DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with strong reading and writing in English.
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or eligible to obtain within 60 days.
• Clean driving record with no major infractions in the past two years.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers with 10-12 stops per day, handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of delivered and picked up products.
• Complete hazmat shipping papers per DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify the need for timely vehicle repairs or maintenance.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business goals and customer needs.
• Continuously learn how Linde’s business operates to help the organization grow.
