Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B) to join our Union team. You will deliver products to customers, complete paperwork, and provide excellent service across 10-12 stops per day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; English reading and writing proficiency.
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification; valid CDL A/B.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or must obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in past 2 years.
• No alcohol-related convictions in last 10 years.
• Must pass DOT physical and obtain medical certificate.
• Ability to push, pull, move and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers with an average of 10-12 stops per day, handling freight and paperwork.
• Count and record quantities and styles of delivered and picked up products.
• Prepare hazardous material shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Build relationships with customers to meet business goals and customer needs.
• Continuously learn how Linde’s business operates to support growth.
